Since ya’ll are such great followers I thought I’d post a preview of a beat im working on. I’m learning new software so this is very rough. I’ve actually already changed the bass line and tempo but anyway go check me out. I have more to add but I just made this page today so bare with me. Here’s the thing though.. I’m worried that Drake, I guess in the “public” court of who wins or loses, will “win” this beef. Hip Hop heads like us (or just people who see past bullshit anyways) understand that Drake holds no candle to Common, lyrically, and that Drake is like theee only softest nigga in the history of ever that the “thugs and ganstas” of rap keep lettin this dude come on their records rappin about a life that he does not nor has ever lived. However because everyone (and by everyone I mean mostly the suburban white kids and ignorant black college students who bought into the whole ‘YOLO & OVO XO’ shit don’t know any better, and they think it’s trendy and cool . Don’t get me wrong, Drake is a good artist. Soft or not, his music reaches people and that’s great and all, but this thing might get a little uglier than it really should.
